Hallie's bump...

You probably can't see it, but there's a nice little goose-egg above Hallie's right eye. Then above her left eye is another little scrape and bruise. She took a little tumble on the sidewalk outside of her grandparents' house on March 30th. She was clapping for herself and tripped on the sidewalk. Since she was clapping, she didn't catch herself before her little noggin met the concrete. Poor thing! We thought she would be just fine, but about 4 hours or so later, she began to projectile vomit profusely. We could only think concussion, so took Hallie to the ER--our first day living in Waco. What a way to say "Welcome Home", huh?! After the doctor checked Hallie's bump, then found that her ear infection hadn't cleared completely, he ordered a CT Scan of her little noggin just to make sure she was OK. Everything turned out just fine...but what a scare we had!
