Harper *loves* the water. She does not, however, love hats. She never has. Not in the winter, not for fun, not to keep the sun out of her eyes. She does not like hates. If she could talk, she might say something like this:
I do not like hats.
I do not like them on my head.
I do not like them on a bed.
I do not like them here or there.
I do not like them anywhere.
"I'm sorry...you want me to wear what?"
"Oh. A hat. Hmph."
"Yeah, thanks, Mommy...but I don't think so."
"Nice try, though."
"Ah...that is *much* better."
The pool was a hit...Harper LOVED it!
